Certification: Proactive Way to Keep BSCs Running at Peak Performance

April 23, 2024 | 2pm ET / 11am PT

The annual certification of biological safety cabinets (BSCs), fume hoods, and similar appliances is a rigid official requirement. It applies to organizations in life sciences, healthcare, and other industries. However, many people don’t know that in-depth BSC certification can be much more than a tedious, cumbersome, and mandated task.

That's because certification is also a cost-effective way to proactively defeat contamination—provided the right professional technicians execute the certifications. Deep-dive certifications yield data that enable managers to ensure these key appliances operate more safely, efficiently, and at peak performance.

Attend this webinar to learn how:
  • There are a wide variety of equipment types that require certification—as well as calibration and maintenance.
  • By proactively detecting contamination or other potential cabinet problems, certification enables proactive responses to ensure worker safety, research integrity, and seamless operations.
  • Certification yields key operational data about the appliances—these offer performance improvement and cost savings insights.
  • Proper certification enables compliance, successful power management, and other operational benefits.
  • Successful certification requires professionals with a complete understanding of ventilated equipment operations—and, in case of emergencies, who also can perform repairs and maintenance procedures.
  • There are partners available to perform a broad range of testing and certification tasks—removing the burden from your organization.
